From the CRKT website: A contemporary rendition of a time honored design - done Tighe Style. Another great design from Brian Tighe that is sure to excite all true knife enthusiasts. Paying homage to classic knife design, the feather lite, symmetrical blade shape and coffin style handle balance properly to create an effective cutting tool. The blade is finely ground and polished for a razor sharp cutting edge. Deploying the blade is indeed quick with the flipper. This distinctive design calls for only one true sharpened side edge. The exposed side of the blade edge while closed and seated in the handle is not sharp for your ultimate safety and of course, your exceptional style. The custom looking blade pivot screw head is a touch of class. You will appreciate the handle design and its visually appealing near-custom detail. Aluminum handle scales are bead blasted, then gray anodized for added wear resistance. Secure blade lockup comes in the form of a positive interference bar engaged by the blade tang, and it is disengaged with a push button release. If you want to revisit "old school" in class - the Tighe Dye knife is it.
