The Knives Plus replacement linen micarta scales for the Spyderco Para 3 are precision milled from OD Green Linen Micarta. Micarta will vary in color slightly. These scales were created to replace the original Spyderco G10 scales.

Left-handed? You bet these will work! Are you crazy and enjoy Tip-Down carry? No problem!! These scales will accept any clip position. They weigh in at 0.6 oz and have an installed, total weight of 3.1 oz. Made in China.

Please note: linen micarta scale color will naturally vary (some darker, some lighter), which is part of the uniqueness of the material.

The fit and finish of the scales is great. The liners nested perfectly and reassembly was easy. This is my first experience with micarta so I’m not the best judge for texture. The scales are definitely less grippy than the stock G10. The only con I’ve found is that there is a sharp corner at the compression lock, not a huge deal but worth mentioning.

Picked up a set of these and couldn’t be happier. Fit and finish are excellent. In fact, they might actually fit better than the original G10 scales that came on the knife. Shipping was prompt and the scales actually arrived a couple of days earlier than anticipated.
