DMT Knife Sharpener: DMT Dia-Sharp Knife Sharpener, 6" Fine-Coarse, DMT-D6FC

The illustrated DMT Knife Sharpener is the 6" Fine-Coarse Double Sided Dia-Sharp Knife Sharpener that features two flat continuous monocrystalline diamond surfaces that won't groove or hollow out. Use the Fine 25 Micron, 600 Mesh side to put a keen edge on a regularly maintained tool or blade. Use the Coarse 45 Micron, 325 Mesh side to restore an edge on a neglected tool or blade. The Coarse grit is also great for waterstone flattening. The 6" Double Sided Dia-Sharp Knife Sharpener with Fine-Coarse grit measures 6" long by 2" wide.

The DMT Dia-Sharp diamond sharpening stones feature a flat continuous monocrystalline diamond surface that won't groove or hollow out. Dia-Sharp stones quickly cut even the toughest steel. Use dry or with water; no oil is needed.

Please note: this is a single stone with two sharpening sides.

Always a pleasure to deal with Knives Plus. I received my sharpener in a timely manner. The DMT D6 is the perfect size for me - I needed a sharpener for pocket knives, and smaller kitchen knives. The Fine/Coarse dual grit is helpful- gives me the options for really going to town on a dull edge, and for light touch ups when needed. I lay mine on a cut up piece of that foamy drawer liner stuff to protect the side that I am not using, and to prevent slipping (I am not a one handed knife sharpener - yet).

After some research and reviews, I got this sharpener to sharpen my kitchen knives. It did a great job with not much effort. Seems like a high quality sharpener that will last a long time.
