The EK51 Ek Short Drop Point Knife, designed by John Ek and produced in the KA-BAR Orleans, NY facility, features a 4.31 inch drop point fixed blade made of 1095 Cro-Van steel, .165 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58, black finish with Ek Commando / KA-BAR stamp, and an integral finger guard for secure grip. The Ek Short Drop Point has full tang construction for strength, removable black Ultramid scales with ergonomic contours, and a lanyard hole. A MOLLE compatible Celcon sheath is included. The Ek Short Drop Point Knife has an overall length of 8.5 inches, and it weighs 9.6 ounces. Made in the USA.
