ESEE Knives: ESEE Arrowhead Survival Blade, ESEE-AH1
The ESEE AH1 Arrowhead is a compact survival blade made for lashing to a branch or handle for use as a spear or a knife. The AH1 features single piece double edge 1095 carbon steel construction with a Rockwell hardness of 55-57, a lashing hole and a non reflective black powder coat finish. The AH1 Arrowhead has an overall length of 2.5 inches; made in the USA.
From the ESEE website regarding 1095 steel: ESEE knives made from high carbon 1095 steel will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor on the blade.
