Forschner kitchen knives feature high-carbon stainless steel blades which are hand finished by Victorinox in Switzerland. A special tempering process produces an edge that can be resharpened again and again. All Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension.

Boning knives can be used for a number of purposes, but Forschner recommends using a wide blade for chicken and pork. This Forschner Boning Knife features a 6" wide, stiff, straight stainless steel blade with Victorinox logo etch. The Rosewood handle comes with polished aluminum rivets.

The Forschner knives are light and very comfortable with the Rosewood handles. I have had Victorinox knives for years and used them on the ocean in saltwater without problems. Easy to keep sharp and they stay sharp with the hard stainless steel used to make them.
