Forschner kitchen knives feature high-carbon stainless steel blades which are hand finished by Victorinox in Switzerland. A special tempering process produces an edge that can be resharpened again and again. All Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension.
The illustrated Forschner Knife Set is the Forschner Steak Knife Set; a package of six steak knives that measure 8 7/8" overall. Each knife in this Forschner Knife Set has a 4 1/2" wavy blade made of high carbon stainless steel, with a sharp tip and the Victorinox logo embellishment, and an extremely durable black polypropylene handle that is approved by the National Sanitation Foundation. The Forschner Steak Knife Set with sharp tip wavy blades and black nylon handles is made in Switzerland.
