Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. Meet the GiantMouse ACE Grand. Named after the Grand Hotel in Nuremberg, this knife is GiantMouse's EDC friendly version of their popular GM5. The GM5 was designed as a "magnum opus" with exceptional materials, great ergonomics, impeccable fit and finish, top-notch steel, comfortable carry, and a bold appearance. This blackout ACE Grand knife retains these qualities while introducing changes like American-made black Canvas Micarta scales, nested liners, and a robust liner lock. It preserves the sturdy titanium backspacer for strength and adds a deep-carry wire pocket clip for comfortable carry. The PVD coated MagnaCut steel blade, with its high Saber Flat Grind and pronounced swedge, remains perfect for all-around use, maintaining slicing effectiveness while retaining tip strength. This model is fully blacked-out with the exception of the featured blue anodized titanium backspacer and pivot collar. Made in Italy.
