Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. Introducing the Riv LL - a variation of the GiantMouse Riv now featuring a liner lock. Named after a local dive bar in East Lansing, MI, called "The Riv". The Riv was frequented by GiantMouse CEO Jim Wirth while he attended Michigan State University in the 80's, and is now honored by GiantMouse with this EDC. This knife is equipped with a proficient flipper mechanism, delivering consistent cutting performance for indoor and outdoor tasks. Its ergonomically contoured green Canvas Micarta handle ensures high-quality grip and comfort while the stonewashed MagnaCut stainless steel blade, featuring a thin flat grind and a razor-sharp edge, facilitates effortless slicing. Notably, the design incorporates dual choils which enhance blade control and grip during use. The sleek minimalist design is accented by a brass backspacer with jimping along the spine, providing an even more secure grip during use.
