The 2490 KABAR TDI Flipper Folder, designed by John Benner of the Tactical Defense Institute, features a 3.5 inch spear point blade made of AUS 8A stainless steel, .125 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 52-54. The blade has a non reflective black finish with TDI logo, a flat grind with top swedge, dual stops that lock up against the frame for superior strength against sideways torque, and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The handle, 4.75 inches closed, has a checkered black G10 front for secure grip, a black steel back with sturdy frame lock, and an end to end reversible steel pocket clip. The KABAR TDI Flipper Folder has an overall open length of 8.25 inches, and it weighs 4.8 ounces. Made in Taiwan.
