East meets West in the 1266 KA-BAR Modified Tanto Fighting Utility Knife, with its Japanese style blade and classic KA-BAR handle. The Modified Tanto features an 8 inch blade made of 1095 Cro-Van steel, .165 inches thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58, flat grind, long spine swedge, and a non reflective black finish. The black Kraton G® handle has grooves for secure grip, and a black commercial grade carbon steel cross guard and butt cap. A MOLLE compatible black hard plastic sheath is included. The KA-BAR Modified Tanto Fighting Utility has an overall length of 12.75 inches, and it weighs 12.0 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.
