The illustrated KABAR Knife is the KABAR Big Brother Knife that features a 9 3/8" double edge clip point fixed blade made of 1095 cro-van carbon steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade of this KABAR Knife has a non reflective black epoxy powder coat and a serrated spine. The grooved stacked leather washer handle has a black metal butt cap and guard. An embossed brown leather sheath is included with this KABAR Knife. The KABAR Big Brother Knife with leather handle has an overall length of 14 3/8" and it weighs .90 pounds. Made in the USA.

This one is a keeper. Shaving sharp out of the box. An awesome American made knife that just feels right at home in my hand. I have owned 2 other leather handled Kabars and there is nothing else like them. I love the serrations on top instead of the blade as they would interrupt the sharpness of the blade. Never been able to shave with serrations. The leather sheath matches the look and is made in Mexico not in Taiwan and the knife leaves marks on the leather sheath rather than the other way around. And you can't enjoy breaking in a plastic sheath. A friend saw the knife and said "it is so you". I am not a collector so it will be called "Dad's knife" or "the Kabar". I am that happy with this blade. The quality far exceeds the price and Knives Plus shipped it free. I am excited to find a way to give the sheath a distressed look or maybe leather stamps.

I have a small K-Bar knife so I knew it would be good quality. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this knife. The blade is extremely sharp, and the handle is nice. Even the sheath is quality.I was happy to get it for the sale price.Knives Plus was great to order from. They shipped it right out and there was no shipping cost to me. I plan on ordering my next knife from them. Thank you K-Bar and thank you Knives Plus.

I just got this knife and I am thrilled with the quality. The blade is very sharp and the handle is very nice. This is now in my collection I plan to pass down to my grandson. I am more than satisfied with it.
