The 1230 Kershaw Diode is a compact gent's size pocket / keychain knife that features a 1.6 inch clip point blade made of 3Cr13 stainless steel with a bead blast finish, a top swedge to lessen weight, notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a nail nick for opening. The ergonomic black GFN (glass filled nylon) handle, 2.9 inches closed, has machined grooves for secure grip, an exposed liner lock with cutouts for visual interest, and a metal back spacer with integral screwdriver and lanyard / keyring hole. The Kershaw Diode Knife has an overall open length of 4.5 inches, and it weighs 1.1 ounces.
