The illustrated Kershaw Knife is the Kershaw Valmara Knife, designed by Les George, that features a 3.1" recurve drop point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. The blade of this Kershaw Knife has a stonewash finish, a notched thumb rest, a flipper and SpeedSafe Assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The flipper is overlarge and notched; serving as a finger guard when the knife is open. The black GFN (glass filled nylon) handle, 4.1" closed, has grooved texturing for secure grip, a liner lock and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Kershaw Knife. The Kershaw Valmara Knife has an overall open length of 7.1", and it weighs 3.8 ounces.
