These are replacements or upgrades for the Lansky Knife Sharpening Systems. Lansky Diamond knife sharpening hones are used to cut modern, super hard high-tech blade steel without wearing yourself out in the process.
The Extra Coarse Diamond Knife Sharpener Hone, with silver holder, is used to start the edge on extremely dull knives. Don't forget the guide rods! Package of 4 available-sold separately.
