MODIFIED Spyderco K390 Wharncliffe Dragonfly Knife - Acid Stonewash - Heat Color Hardware - Rit Dye Fade

The MODIFIED C28FP2WK390 Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Lightweight K390 Wharncliffe Knife is a new iteration of a classic compact EDC that features an ACID STONEWASHED 2.28 inch Wharncliffe blade made of Bohler-Uddeholm K390 tool steel, .098 inch thick. The ACID STONEWASHED blade has a full flat grind, a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco Hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The blue FRN (fiberglass nylon resin) handle has been given a black Rit Dye fade starting from the pivot, which steadily fades toward the clip. The hardware / pocket clip contrasts nicely with our bronze heat color. The MODIFIED Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Lightweight K390 Wharncliffe Knife has an overall open length of 5.58 inches, and it weighs 1.2 ounces. Made in Japan.

From the 2021 Spyderco Reveal 7 product guide: The Dragonfly 2 is one of the most size-efficient folding knives ever created, especially when expressed with a straight-edged Wharncliffe-style blade. When that blade is crafted from tough, wear-resistant K390 tool steel, the result is a compact, powerhouse cutting tool that will take and hold an exceptional edge.

Like the standard Dragonfly 2, this knife also features a user-friendly back lock, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip, but its linerless FRN handle is molded in the signature blue color of Spyderco's K390 family of knives.

Not my first Dragonfly, but my first modified from Knives Plus.
It's done very well, the edge is straight, symmetrical, aka even grinds, and very sharp. DC signed the card, doing the inspection and sharpening, nice job bud!
The acid stonewash, hardware color, and Rit dye job is done well too.
