Please Note: The Native 5 LW will exhibit a very slight amount of lock rock. This is due to the inherent tolerances in the lock bar pin, the hole the pin fits into, and the varying thicknesses of coatings. Factors such as the hard coat, Cerakote, and Type II anodization will naturally vary, which cannot be entirely accounted for during production, leading to the slight lock rock. These tolerances can be better managed when using materials like plastics or G10, as the pin can be pressed into those materials. However, aluminum is more rigid and cannot be pressed in without risking damage to the material. This slight lock rock is not a defect and should be expected.
This MODIFIED Spyderco Native 5 Salt Knife features a 2.95" leaf shaped blade made of rust proof CPM MagnaCut steel, .125" thick, with a notched choil and thumb rest for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The high viz yellow FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle has been replaced with Applied Weapons Tech Midnight Blue Aluminum Scales. The Spyderco Native Lightweight is 4.00" closed, has Bi-Directional Texturing for secure purchase, ergonomic contours for comfort, a sturdy lockback, a lanyard hole and a four position metal pocket clip. The Spyderco Native 5 Salt Knife has an overall open length of 6.95" and it weighs 3 ounces. Made in the USA.
