All original parts included (Original G10 Scales and Original Satin Hardware)

Old Worn Denim Micarta will vary slightly from knife to knife. Oils will change the color and feel as well.

UPDATED CQI VERSION - CPM S45VN blade steel!

This MODIFIED Spyderco Para 3 Knife features a 3" modified clip point blade made of CPM S45VN premium stainless steel with an ACID WASH finish, a notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured, textured black G10 handle has been replaced with the KP Custom Worn Denim Micarta Scales. The Para 3 has a closed length of 4.27" and comes with a nested Compression Lock, a lined lanyard hole, and a side to side and end to end reversible steel pocket clip. All hardware has been replaced with the KP Blacked Out Hardware Set, and original hardware is included in box. The Spyderco Para 3 Knife has an overall open length of 7.27", and it weighs 3 ounces. Made in the USA.

I have hesitated for several years to buy a Para 3 because I didn't feel there was enough difference btw the PM2 and the Para 3 to justify buying it. I purchased the Para 3 with the Acid Stonewash Blade and Denim Micarta.

Blade:The beauty of the blade is the KnivesPlus custom acid stonewash. The finish looks Bad Ass and you don't have to clean fingerprints and smudges off like with a satin blade. A+

Denim Micarta:I have several Micarta knives and I own a Penguin with denim Micarta. The KnivesPlus denim micarta is hands down the best of all. After 3 weeks of EDC the handle has darkened and looks great. A+

Function:The KnivesPlus edge was hair splitting sharp. The hardware looks great. After 3 weeks of EDC I started getting a little blade play. I added a little blue Loctite to the main pivot screw and it solved the problem. A+

In conclusion the Para 3 is a better EDC than the PM2. I highly recommend spending the extra $ for a KnivesPlus knife, you won't regret it!

I was looking for my first para 3 but already own a lot of knives and wanted some special. This was worth the wait. Great acid stonewash shows nothing. Perfect working blade or for those who hate prints and it’s s-cut printer paper sharp. Matching clip is a nice touch. Scales steal the show. True denim micarta. Feels like ur favorite old soft pair of jeans. I have a lanyard plug I want to install but the action is so dialed in I’m afraid to mess with it. Already shopping a k390 dragonfly and a rit dye salt series. Great work!

I’ve handled Spyderco’s before but with this was the first one I bought. I couldn’t be more happy with the purchase. It’s beautiful, and functional. Very sharp also. Be aware if you’re going to use or fidget with this knife the blue denim micarta will change colors with the oils in your skin.

The KnivesPlus PM3 worn denim scales with stonewash blade was an example of how these guys take a stock PM3 and perfect it into something unique and special. Their stonewash is consistantly the best. Thats why I always have them do my blades that way. Perfection always!
