UPDATED CQI VERSION - CPM S45VN blade steel!

This MODIFIED Spyderco Para 3 Knife features a 3" modified clip point blade made of CPM S45VN premium stainless steel with a non reflective black finish, a notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured, textured RIT DYED RED CAMO G10 handle, 4.27" closed, comes with a nested Compression Lock, a lined lanyard hole, and a side to side and end to end reversible steel pocket clip. The MODIFIED Spyderco Para 3 Knife has an overall open length of 7.27", and it weighs 3 ounces. Made in the USA.

First I was just like you wondering if this was the knife for me, because I already owned a all black Spyderco Para 3. Who is Knifes Plus and how good are they at modifying knifes, plus the $146.99 for the knife?

I called knifes plus and ended up speaking to Danner. The guy who does all these modifications and very quickly I got the sense of a man who loves what he does!! He was very patient as I asked him a thousand questions about his process, going back and forth about what to expect with the functionality, ease of use, and most important to me looks of the knife. If I bought the knife, yes of course the cost.

Over the course of two days we talked. You see if I bought this knife it "HAD" to be unique. We covered everything and I bought the knife. Like a little kid couldn't wait to get it!

Hello, the knife knocked my socks off. A absolute stunner looking work of art, functioning smooth as butter, and amazingly sharp! Danner you are the man, thanks Knifes Plus!

PM3 is the perfect EDC 10/18/2020

Ok, so I've bought about 25 knives in just over 3.5 months. I'm new to knife collecting. I started in the summer of 2020 while I was telecommuting. I began by looking for a good self-defense knife in these strange times we're living in. I quickly learned the term EDC and that many enthusiasts and collectors are always searching for a knife they can call the perfect EDC. Well, this is my first KnivesPlus purchase, my first modded, or altered knife, and it's early for me after only just over 3.5 months of research and purchases, but I don't see how a knife can be much better than the PM3. Great shape for the handle, great balance, great weight. Weight is so great in fact that I would say you don't even need to look at the newer Lightweight PM3 that Spyderco offers unless you're counting grams. Great steel, nice DLC-coated blade, and finally, thanks to KnivesPlus, an unusual color that caught my eye. In my humble opinion, this knife blows my Bugout away. I think you'll like it!

I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and really like it! Came out of Knives Plus very sharp and basically free dropping with the liner lock. The red die makes it different than what you usually see around, since this is such a popular knife. No too large, not small, great slicer, light. Only caveat would be what most mention... the clip location could be higher or a different design to make the knife ride deeper in the pocket. Just something to be aware of. In general... 9 out of 10 for me!

Great knife but not perfect 06/22/2019

My wife bought me this knife, and I love it. It's extremely sharp, and the scales look great. It's perfectly centered, and it just looks amazing. Unfortunately, I'm sad to say that the blade is already showing knicks and scratches on the flat black finish from regular pocket carry after only two weeks. I should have picked the regular satin blade or acid wash.

The Para 3 never really called out to me.......until I saw the modded version by KP!!
I ordered one and in a couple days I got a package.
Excellent service and I got an absolutely perfect knife! Free drop action, bank vault lock up with no play and a screaming sharp edge!!
I love it and want to thank KP!!
