This MODIFIED Para 3 is a member of the Spyderco Salt line-up featuring the standard 2.92-inch blade, 0.145 inches thick, in CPM MagnaCut stainless steel and the corrosion resistant yellow FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) handle HAS BEEN DYED RED. This model boasts all of the well-known features of the standard Para 3 including the finger choil, jimping, reversible clip, compression lock, and lanyard hole while integrating the Salt Series design. Weighing in at 2.4 ounces, this Para 3 is perfect for every day carry in any condition, especially sea-side. Made in the USA.

I owned a para 3 LW in SPY27 for around 2 years. It replaced every other knife in my collection as my favorite carry. Lost it during a business trip and decided to buy a new one a few months later. Used the situation as an excuse to upgrade to a salt model and settled on this dyed version. Knives Plus was great to do business with. Got the knife 4 business days after ordering with their free shipping and the knife came significantly sharper than the SPY27 model I bought directly from Spyderco. The color is very consistent and I wouldn't suspect it to be a custom job if I didn't know better. Thanks for the great product!
