Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The 1135989 Old Timer 5OTH Bruin Knife, from the Old Timer Heritage Series, features a 2.75 inch drop point blade made of tough D2 tool steel, .08 inch thick, with a polished finish and a nail nick for opening. The slim gray laminate wood handle, 3.75 inches closed, has brass liners, Old Timer shield, a nickel silver bolster and a lockback. The Old Timer Bruin Knife weighs 2.19 ounces; made in China.
