The Old Timer Scout 23OT Knife is a traditional pocket knife that features a drop point blade, a can opener, a bottle opener with screwdriver, and an awl made of 7Cr17MoV high carbon stainless steel, with nail nicks for opening. The brown Sawcut handle, 3.7" closed, has the Old Timer shield, nickel silver bolsters, brass pins and liners, and a bail. The Old Timer Scout Knife weighs .25 pounds. Imported from China.

Pretty cheap made in China knife, does take and hold an edge pretty well however. The bail fell off after about a weeks use but you get what ya pay for. Did show up with a decent factory edge. Knifes Plus has always delivered as advertised in a very timely manner to Alaska, I will continue to get my knives from them.

Don't know what commercial fisherman problem is these are well made knives an hold up well great knife for the money. I still use another one that I had 25 years now. Great knife for a great price!!!
