From the Outdoor Edge website: This practical outdoor knife with cord-wrapped handle converts to a harpoon/personal defense spear in seconds. Once converted, the harpoon is an effective weapon for harvesting small game, birds and fish in any survival situation.
Changes easily from knife to harpoon by slotting a green shaft with the sharp hawksbill end of the handle and tying the knife in, or by threading the accessory blade holder onto a standard broom handle. The hollow handle blade holder features a liquid filled compass in the cap with a compartment for storing fish hooks, line, matches, and other survival essentials. The Harpoon comes complete with a quality nylon belt sheath. Designed by custom knife maker Jerry Hossom. Patents Pending.
