You Need These Washers! 10/28/2022

These washers may be the best upgrade I've made to my Bugout 535 so far.

Pros: They're much smoother and larger dia. than the stock washers, immediately improved the flip open action, and it now has a smooth drop close with very minimal blade play (i.e. with the stock washers to get similar open/close action there was unacceptable blade play).

Cons: ZERO

So, you need these washers!

I have bought several knives and hardware I've the years from Knives Plus.They are great to deal with , their black acid wash is awesome . Shipping and customer service excellent as well . These oversize pivot washers help with centering & action . Although not listed ; they work perfectly on the Benchmade mini Osbornes !

What the Bugout lacked… 11/09/2022

One of the very few things that the Bugout lacked, were these washers.
-action, after a bit of polishing/lube, becomes night n day difference
-no blade play after a bit of fine tuning
-centering the blade is much easier

Small investment compared to what you’re getting in return imo

Who knew washers could make such a big improvement?! I have 8 Bugouts and put these washers in all of them. Washers were all a perfect fit. Smooth out of the bag (had planned to polish them until I saw how shiny they were!) so much better action… no more blade play. Highly recommend!

I modified my washers by cleaning them up with some metal polish so I don’t know how smooth they make the action stock.

I don’t think these necessarily reduce blade play but they don’t make it worse.

It’s a cheap modification so I’d do it every time.
