Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The QS130-H QSP Penguin is a compact value price everyday carry knife that features a 3.06 inch sheepfoot blade made of Chinese D2 tool steel with a satin finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The blue linen micarta handle, 4.00 inches closed, has stainless steel liners for strength, sturdy liner lock, a lanyard hole and a side to side reversible deep carry stainless steel pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The QSP Penguin Knife has an overall open length of 7.06 inches, and it weighs 3.14 ounces. Made in China.

As a budding knives collector I have bought knives online from only a couple online sources. What brought me to Knives Plus was the custom options and favorable reviews of delivery and services. The QSP Penquin with M390 is what caught my eye initially. I love the options offered but for now I settled for the basic D2 option since this is my first QSP product. Added on the $5 sharpening and a couple days later it arrived and I am very pleased! Came super sharp, so far has held it's edge %100. Decent lock up despite a slight lock stick but this is working itself out already. Smaller than I imagined but feels good and solid in the hand. I love the simple but pleasing lines throughout. Handle is nothing fancy but feels great. Clip is strong but not unbearable, a slight lift of the clip and it stays where I position it but slides out smooth. No lateral wiggle either. I will definitely get another with m390 now that I've tried this one out. Solid EDC. Love the linen micarta, great price.
