This FB35PBK Spyderco ARK is serial numbered, BNIB; made in Japan in 2015.The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco ARK Knife (Always Ready Knife), designed by John Shirley and Sam Owens, that features a 2.50 inch modified clip point fixed blade made of H-1 steel. The blade of this Spyderco Knife has a satin finish and a hollow grind. The ARK Knife has full tang construction for strength, Bi-Directional Textured black FRN (fiber reinforced nylon) scales for secure grip and a lanyard hole. A molded polymer sheath and bead ball chain are included with this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco ARK Knife has an overall length of 4.98 inches, and it weighs 2.0 ounces. Made in Japan.
The Spyderco ARK Knife has a blade made out of a PH (precipitation hardened) steel that doesn't rust. H1 steel is naturally hard, and it will hold a sharpened cutting edge equivalent to many carbon steels. H1 has 1 percent nitrogen instead of carbon, so it cannot rust.
