This Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Knife has a unique hand dyed Zome Green handle. The Dragonfly 2 Knife features a 2.3" leaf shaped blade made of VG10 stainless steel, .098" thick, with a flat grind, a top swedge, notched thumb ramp and choil for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The hand dyed multi Zome Green FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle, 3.33" closed, has ergonomic contours and texturing for secure purchase, a lockback, a lanyard hole and a side to side reversible wire clip mounted at the butt end. The Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Knife has an overall open length of 5.36" and it weighs 1.2 ounces. Made in Japan.

This ancient art form includes many different methods of creating patterns on cloth using dyes derived from plants, flowers, fruit, and other natural sources and is closely related to many aspects of Japanese history and culture.
Inspired by this rich artistic heritage, Spyderco's Zome knives are unique variations of our lightweight models, which feature injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handles. The handles are molded in a light base color and then individually hand dyed by expert Japanese artisans. Using a technique reminiscent of traditional hiki-zome (brush dyeing), various colors of dye are hand brushed onto the handle to create distinctive, one-of-a-kind patterns.
