The Fish Hunter has full tang construction for strength, Bi-Directional Textured high visibility yellow FRN (fiber reinforced nylon) scales for secure grip, and a lanyard hole. A molded polymer sheath is included. The Spyderco Fish Hunter Knife has an overall length of 8.94 inches, and it weighs 4.1 ounces (6.4 ounces with the sheath). Made in Japan.

Its symmetrical hollow-ground blade is crafted from H-1 steel. To ensure a secure grip, the handle is injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and features high-traction Bi-Directional Texturing. An injection-molded snap-fit polymer sheath with adjustable G-Clip attachment completes the package.
