The Spyderco Knife Byrd Knife Series includes Cara Cara, Meadowlark, Flight, Pelican and Crossbill knives. The Spyderco Byrd Knives have stainless steel blades with a Comet shaped hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The handles have a lockback and an end to end reversible pocket clip.

The Spyderco Knife Byrd Knife designs are engineered in a partnership of Spyderco's Research and Development and several custom knifemakers. Engineering, ergonomics, quality control, safety testing and close tolerance manufacturing are controlled and overseen by Spyderco. Production takes place in China by carefully selected knifemakers working in conjunction with Spyderco to ensure a reliable, quality Spyderco knife at a competitive price.
