The C101GPBORE2 Spyderco Manix 2 Knife is a limited Sprint Run edition that features a blade made of REX 45 tool steel. Sure to be a hit with users and collectors alike, this Manix 2 REX 45 has a 3.37 inch drop point blade made of the aforementioned REX 45 steel, .125 inches thick, with a satin finish, full flat grind, notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The ergonomic burnt orange G10 handle, 4.66 inches closed, has skeletonized stainless steel liners for strength, sturdy Ball Bearing Lock, a large lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible steel pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Spyderco Manix 2 REX 45 has an overall open length of 8.03 inches and it weighs 4.3 ounces. Limited quantities; made in the USA in Golden, Colorado.

Its high cobalt content increases the steel's attainable hardness and enhances the positive properties of the steel's other alloys. The addition of vanadium promotes the formation of vanadium carbides, which provide high wear resistance, fine grain size and increased toughness.
