The C136PBK Spyderco Persistence Lightweight - a welcome addition to Spyderco's Value Series lineup, features a 2.77 inch drop point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .122 inches thick, with a full flat grind, notched thumb ramp, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle, 4.13 inches closed, has ergonomic contouring and Bi-Directional Texturing for secure grip, steel liners for strength, sturdy liner lock, a lanyard hole, and a 4 position steel pocket clip. The Spyderco Persistence Lightweight Knife has an overall open length of 6.90 inches and it weighs 3.3 ounces. Made in China.

The new Persistence Lightweight takes this pocket-friendly design to the next level by swapping the original G-10 scales for injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). FRN scales reduce the knife's weight by almost 10 percent and add the enhanced non-slip grip of a Bi-Directional Texture pattern. All other features are faithfully consistent with the original, including an 8Cr13MoV blade, full stainless steel liners, a LinerLock mechanism, and a fourposition pocket clip. It is also available with a choice of PlainEdge or CombinationEdge™.
