The C253GPBN15V Spyderco YoJumbo Knife is the tough big brother of the popular Yojimbo 2, designed by Michael Janich. This Sprint Run features a 4-inch modified Wharncliffe blade,.145-inches thick, made of CPM 15V state-of-the-art particle metallurgy tool steel with an extremely high vanadium content. Its unique alloy composition offers superior wear resistance, a quality that translates to extreme sharpness and edge retention in knife blades. The blade has a hollow grind and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. Consistent with the signature theme of this Sprint Run family, the handle of this Para 3, 5.37-inches, features brown peel-ply-textured G-10 scales, and the reverse side of the blade is laser engraved with Shawn Houston’s “Big Brown Bear” logo. The handle has ergonomic finger groove contouring and coarse texture for secure grip, nested skeletonized stainless steel liners and open back construction to lessen weight, the sturdy Compression Lock and a 4 position steel pocket clip.
