The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife that features a 3.42 inch modified clip point blade made of CPM S45VN stainless steel. The blade of this Spyderco Knife has a non reflective black coat, a notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured, textured black G10 handle, 4.82 inches closed, comes with a nested Compression Lock, and a lined lanyard hole. A side to side and end to end reversible steel pocket clip is included with this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife with black blade has an overall length of 8.24 inches when open, and it weighs 3.7 ounces. Made in the USA.

It is the real deal07/29/2020 ByJames Rogers My first Spyderco knife. Honestly, I didn't expect to buy the Spiderco paramilitary 2. I made my purchase purely on functions and features I prefer. I keep this knife in my pocket so i did not want thumb studs on the blade. A better steel holds an edge longer. The quality of construction and materials is solid . In the hand this knife is intuative. Also, the fact that it is made in USA is worth something to me. I attach a lanyard and this is an excellent pocket carry for me. My blade is even slightly off center, and it is just fine...just like Spyderco. I'd rather have less tension on the pivot than a perfectly centered blade. I'm thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.
Love black blade, great sharpening service!11/21/2023 ByBruce Yang For years, I've been carrying Microtech Socom Elite auto and Benchmade Auto striker knives with black blade and aluminum scales. Now, I hold this Para 2 in my hand and it feels much lighter and delicate (around the tip of the blade), which I like. Screws and internal mechanisms are also all black.
The sharpening service by Knives Plus is superb and also adds value to my knife. I highly recommend this service.
It's a safe queen for now and this Para 2 puts smile on my face whenever I play with it.
PM2 junky09/17/2021 ByJoe Fuentez Just picked up another all black PM2 and was super surprised to find out it had a black compression lock instead if the silver like all my others. Looks super bad ass. Not to mention the pocket clip was flat black too to match the blade instead if the normal shiny black. Is this a knives plus only thing?? Btw, if you buy one PM2, it won’t be your last. They’re addicting.
