The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Temperance2 Knife that features a 4.85" leaf shaped fixed blade made of VG10 stainless steel. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a full flat grind, a wrist lanyard hole and a notched thumb ramp for secure grip. The Spyderco Temperance2 Knife has full tang construction, with Earth Tone Canvas Micarta handle slabs, and a lined lanyard hole. A genuine leather is included with this Spyderco knife. The Spyderco Temperance2 knife has an overall length of 9.72", and it weighs 6.75 ounces. Made in Japan.

I have been eyeing one of these for quite some time. When these went on sale a short time ago I couldn’t resist. I snatched one up and couldn’t be more pleased. So much so that I broke down and immediately bought a second.

The VG10 blade is superb. Both were hair popping sharp and perfectly crafted. They fit the hand and are extremely comfortable.

Some have commented that the sheath is subpar - both examples in my possession have nicely constructed leather sheathes. I’m my humble opinion these knives deserve much better than the kydex that others have on the web suggested. The “Styling” of the leather sheathes might leave a bit to be desired - but it is a quality piece of kit.

I thank knivesplus for the included strop block that was included with my purchase - it is EXCELLENT!
