Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Manix2 XL Knife that features a 3.88" drop point blade made of CPMS30V stainless steel. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a flat grind, a notched thumb ramp and choil for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The textured black G10 handle, 5.05" closed, has an encased Ball Bearing Lock and an oversized lanyard hole. A side to side reversible stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Manix2 XL Knife has an overall length of 8.93" and it weighs 6.2 ounces. Made in the USA.
