Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife that features a a 3.42" blade made of CPM S110V stainless steel, .145" thick. The blade of this Spyderco Knife has a notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured, textured dark blue G10 handle, 4.82" closed, has a Compression Lock, and a lined lanyard hole. A side to side and end to end reversible steel pocket clip is included with this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife with CPM S110V blade has an overall open length of 8.24", and it weighs 3.8 ounces. Made in the USA.

Spyderco really nailed it with this one. This is a well designed knife, flawlessly executed. I would describe the handle color as cobalt blue. I love it. I haven't used it long enough to know yet if the steel in this is worth a premium over the CPM S30V steel used in the regular production models. I can say that in terms of precision, fit, and general quality this knife is exactly like the regular production model. Flawless.

I would describe this knife as a precision cutter. It's super sharp and the blade points very precisely where you want it. It's not for prying, not for batoning. I would not use it to open a can of tuna. I would use it to field dress game, skin am animal, remove a thorn from my skin, clean a fish, cut leather. I wouldn't pound it though, the edge is too fine for that.

This knife is a great by. Ergonomics are great and and the action is buttery smooth. This model comes with a fantastic steel. I would caution the even though it’s labeled as blue it is really a dark purple . Ok for me but I’m sure others may take issues with that. Knives plus shipped fast and if you haven’t tried their $4 “want to shave with it” option I highly suggest it. Didn’t add much time to shipping and was well worth it

Outstanding knife in every respect. The color is more "plum" to me, but doesn't matter what it's called, it's very attractive. Smooth opening and the blade drops nicely into close. Locks up like a brick and there's zero blade play. The S110V steel should be great (I haven't used it enough to know how well it holds an edge, but have read it's fantastic). It's become my EDC.

Fantastic knife. This is my third PM2 and came pretty sharp. I have used it a couple of weeks now and decided to reprofile the edge and had no real problem using all diamond hones. If you are not proficient in sharpening or you don’t have a decent diamond sharpening setup, I would get a different blade steel. The knife itself is awesome in any steel.

Good service and no shenanigans. After searching for the pm2 s110v, I saw that they had it in stock. The cost was a little more than what everyone else had posted but then again n one else had it in stock so I guess I can't complain. But overall I am very pleased and will keep them in mind when on the hunt.
