The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Schempp Bowie Knife, designed by knife maker Ed Schempp, that features a 3.72" clip point bowie style blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .098" thick. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a flat grind, a top swedge, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The carbon fiber / G10 laminate handle, 4.73" closed, has skeletonized stainless steel liners, a liner lock, solid steel backspacer for strength, a steel bolster with integral double guard, and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible wire pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Schempp Bowie Knife has an overall open length of 8.45" and it weighs 4.6 ounces. Made in Taiwan.
