The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Squarehead Folder, designed by Darriel Caston, that features a 1.3 inch sheepfoot blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .118 inch thick. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a non reflective stonewash finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for one hand opening. The stonewashed titanium handle, 2.00 inches closed, has an integral blade stop / edge protector, an integral liner lock and a lanyard / key ring hole. The Spyderco Squarehead Folder has an overall open length of 3.3 inches and it weighs 1.1 ounces. Made in Taiwan.

Its one-piece construction includes an integral back strap that also serves as a blade stop and a guard for the edge when the blade is closed. It also houses an integral LinerLock-style mechanism that locks the blade securely in the open position. Amazingly small and lightweight, the Squarehead does not include a pocket clip, but features a wide slot in the handle for easy attachment of a chain, fob, or lanyard. Assembled with screw-together construction to ensure the precise alignment of all parts, the blade, handle, and other key components of the Squarehead feature an attractive matte stonewash finish.
