The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Vrango Knife, designed by Swedish custom knife maker Michael Henningsson, that features a 2.51" modified tanto blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .098" thick. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a hollow grind and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The handle, 3.52" closed, has two tone blue anodized titanium scales, black carbon fiber inserts, a liner lock and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible metal pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Vrango Knife has an overall open length of 6.03" and it weighs 3.4 ounces. Made in Taiwan.

A faithful expression of his custom style, the Vrango features a uniquely shaped CPM S30V stainless steel blade that uses a deep hollow grind to yield an Americanized tantostyle tip and a slightly recurved primary edge. Its handle consists of a full-length backspacer, handle scales, and LinerLock mechanism, all machined from solid titanium and anodized a brilliant blue hue with a darker blue border. The scales are inlaid with carbon fiber inserts with a reversible tip-down stainless steel clip.
