The TLSR-01 TOPS Trail Seeker is a standout of the TOPS annual employee knife design contest that features a 4.50 inch clip point fixed blade made of 1095 steel, .190 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade has a non reflective Black Traction Coat, and a notched thumb rest for secure grip and precise control. The Trail Seeker has full tang construction for strength; ergonomic green canvas micarta scales with grooved texturing for secure purchase, and a lanyard hole. A black Kydex dangler sheath is included. The TOPS Knives Trail Seeker Knife has an overall length of 9.38 inches, and it weighs 8.9 ounces; 13.9 ounces with the sheath. Made in the USA.

Luis's inspiration for the design was as simple as it gets. Make sure it has a comfortable handle, a simple, effective blade design, and a Kydex sheath that makes it easy to wear the knife on your hip every day. The Green Canvas Micarta handles have excellent ergonomics including a nice swell in the middle and a good guard for safety, with some added tread to improve the grip when it is needed the most. Luis wanted it to have a strong, but also fine tip so that it could have good penetration for stabbing and still be utilitarian.
