Zero Tolerance Knives: ZT 0620 Knife, G10, ZT-0620
The illustrated Zero Tolerance knife is the ZT 0620 Knife, designed in collaboration with Emerson Knives, that features a 3.6" modified tanto blade made of Elmax stainless steel. The blade of this ZT knife has a black Tungsten DLC coating, a thumb disk and Emerson Wave for ambidextrous one hand opening and for opening on withdrawal. The handle, 4.9" closed, has a black G10 front scale with grooves and notches for secure grip, a stonewash titanium back scale and a frame lock. A side to side reversible metal pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Zero Tolerance knife. The ZT 0620 Knife has an overall open length of 8.5", and it weighs 6.4 ounces. Made in the USA.
From the Zero Tolerance website: Zero Tolerance and Emerson Knives put their hard-use heads together to create the new 0620. ... Of course, the 0620 features the patented Emerson "wave shaped feature" that enables the knife to be opened as it is removed from the pocket. By the time the knife has been fully withdrawn from the pocket, the blade is deployed and ready for use. A small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade is built to catch on the pocket seam, opening the knife as it comes out of the pocket. This Emerson instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.
The handle features a machined G-10 front scale with a stonewashed titanium back. Blade lock up is ensured with a sturdy frame lock. Hardened steel inserts in the lockbar make it extra durable.
